At the October 2017 meetup, Andrew Dixon from mso, a web development agency based near Dartford, Kent, spoke to the group about the new WordPress REST API.

WordPress REST API

The WordPress REST API has been part of the WordPress core since version 4.7. Its inclusion in the core means it is considered to be stable and complete and therefore ready for production use. Andrew gave the group an introduction to the REST API, along with some basic live examples.
